Yesterday happened
Yesterday happened, but this is still true:
God is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness (Ex 34:6).
Yesterday happened, but this is still true:
God’s mercies are new every morning (Lam 3:22-23).
Yesterday happened, but this is still true:
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners (1 Tim 1:15).
Yesterday happened, but this is still true:
Jesus died, was buried, and rose again (1 Cor 15:3-4).
Yesterday happened, but this is still true:
My sins are cast as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12).
Yesterday happened, but this is still true:
Jesus is alive and intercedes for me (Heb 7:25).
Yesterday happened, but this is still true:
Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Heb 13:8).
Yesterday happened, but this is still true:
Jesus reigns as the King of Heaven (Psalm 45:6).
***
Regardless of what happened yesterday, rejoice that our God never changes and His word is truth.
